What is solar PV?

Solar PV systems harness the suns energy and convert it into electricity providing you with a clean energy solution for your home. Solar is a renewable energy source with zero emissions that is virtually maintenance free once installed. Systems can be designed to offset some or all of your energy consumption reducing the impact of fluctuating electricity prices. A solar photovoltaic system takes the power from the utility company and places it in your hands.

How does it work?

The sun's energy is absorbed through a series of solar modules which is then converted into usable electricity with an inverter. This electricity is then used in your home and with a grid-tied system fed back to the electrical grid. Excess energy created during the day is sold back to your power company while still allowing you to utilize the grid at night when the sun is no longer shining.

Is my home or business suitable for solar?

Once the system is installed, it is virtually maintenance free and can last anywhere from 30 to 40 years.
